什么是约翰·洛克John Locke论文写作竞赛

约翰·洛克论文竞赛是每年申请“爬藤选手”中炙手可热的比赛之一，每年吸引全球数千名擅长思考和写作的中学生参加。往年参与学生录取成绩包括普林斯顿大学、哈佛大学、耶鲁大学、斯坦福大学、芝加哥大学、加州大学伯克利分校、牛津大学、剑桥大学等院校。竞赛要求提交一篇2000词以下的议论文。

参加比赛可以积累知识，完善论证技巧。它还让学生有机会让专家评估他们的作品。我们所有的论文奖都由来自包括牛津大学和普林斯顿大学在内的一流大学的高级学者组成的评审团进行评审。评委们将从七个学科类别中选出他们最喜欢的论文，并为15岁以下的学生设立一个初级类别，然后在哲学、政治学、经济学、历史、心理学、神学和法律七个学科中选出一个总体 "最佳论文"。

需要注意的是，今年的比赛在流程方面与往届相比发生了两个重要变化：所有候选人必须在英国夏令时2023年5月31日下午1点59之前使用有效的电子邮箱注册参加比赛，不接受在截止日期前未注册的候选人提交的文章。注册将于2023年3月15日开始。

如果候选人出于某些原因错过了6月30日的文章提交截止日期，可延迟报名，具体延迟报名条件为：

1) 20.00英镑的逾期报名费美元必须在原定截止日期的二十四小时内通过信用卡支付；
